This Privacy Policy explains how cfdcfd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses information when you visit cfdcfd.cfd and related pages. We keep data collection minimal and do not sell your personal information.

cfdcfd is an informational website that compares CFD brokers and related products.

What we collect

1) Basic analytics (Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager)

We measure site usage with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), loaded through Google Tag Manager. GA4 helps us understand page views, referring sites, general device/OS/browser information, and high-level engagement. GA4 may use first-party cookies. We’ve configured it to collect only what we need and avoid sending directly identifying information.

2) Affiliate redirect logs

When you click an outbound affiliate link (e.g., “Visit Broker”), we route through /api/redirect so we can:

• Append UTM parameters required by partners; and
• Record an anonymized click for performance reporting and fraud prevention.

We store the following fields in our database (Supabase):

• link_code, broker_id, page_slug
• country (from edge header), device (derived from user-agent)
• user_agent, referrer
• ip_hash — a one-way HMAC hash of the IP using a private salt (we do not store raw IP)
• created_at (timestamp)

This data lets us understand which pages and partners perform and helps us detect abuse. The hashed IP is not intended to identify you; it helps deduplicate and detect unusual activity.

3) Voluntary contact

If you contact us by email, we’ll receive your email address and any information you include. We use it only to reply to your message and keep normal business records.

Cookies & tracking

• GA4: uses first-party cookies for measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. In regions where consent is required, we’ll honor your choice.

How we use data

• Operate, secure, and improve the website
• Measure content performance and fix issues
• Track anonymous affiliate performance and prevent abuse
• Respond to your inquiries

Sharing & processors

We share data only with service providers who help us run the site:

• Vercel (hosting/edge)
• Supabase (database/storage for click logs and site data)
• Google (Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics 4)

We do not sell personal information.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are: legitimate interests (site operation, security, performance measurement), and consent where cookies or similar technologies require it.

Data retention

• Affiliate click logs: typically retained for up to 24 months (to support reporting and fraud review).
• GA4: event data retained per our GA4 property settings (commonly 14 months).
• Emails: kept as long as needed for correspondence and record-keeping.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in various countries. We rely on standard protection mechanisms provided by those services (e.g., SCCs) where applicable.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. Because we minimize data collection, we may not be able to identify records that relate to you unless you provide additional context. To exercise rights, contact hello@cfdcfd.cfd.

Children

The site is not intended for children. Do not use the site if you are under the age where you can legally enter into agreements in your jurisdiction.
